Amazon is planning to build data centers near the Wilderness Battlefield in Orange County, Virginia, as part of a larger 2,600-acre development project. The proposed site, which borders the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania Battlefields National Military Park, would allocate 732 acres for data centers and distribution warehouses. The complete development plan also includes 5,000 residential units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space, making it the largest development project in Orange County's history.
