Amazon is constructing a two-story data center spanning 28,566 square meters (307,400 square feet) at the Drogheda IDA Business & Technology Park. The facility, which will be situated north of Amazon's existing data center in the business park, will include data halls, electrical and mechanical plant rooms, a loading bay, maintenance and storage areas, office administration spaces, screened plant equipment, and roof-mounted solar panels.
Amazon received planning permission for this facility, located in County Meath, Ireland, in 2021. The facility is expected to be fully operational by June 2026.
