Greencoat Renewables and Schroders Greencoat launched a 50/50 green digital infrastructure joint venture to develop Drogheda Energy Park in County Louth, Ireland in March, 2026.

Located on a brownfield site next to Drogheda Port, the integrated energy park will combine on-site generation, storage, and grid services to power a data center project via corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs). The project is currently in the advanced stages of planning consent.
