Amazon Data Services Malaysia, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, has agreed to purchase approximately 45.46 acres (183,973 square metres) of vacant freehold commercial land in Mukim Dengkil, District of Sepang, Selangor, from Sunsuria City Sdn Bhd for about RM316.84 million in cash.
The site, currently empty and located roughly 40 km south of Kuala Lumpur near the existing Cyberjaya data-centre cluster, is intended for data-processing services and related infrastructure. The conditional deal, announced in late September 2026, is expected to complete by the second quarter of 2027 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, including from the Selangor State Authority and Malaysia’s Data Centre Task Force.
