Virginia Highlands Technology Park is Tract's data center land holding in southern Storey County, Nevada, between the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) and the Virginia City Highlands, southeast of Lockwood. TRW Way runs south from the Lockwood area into the site.

  • Land: 8,590 acres on three Storey County tax parcels, which Tract markets as 11 development parcels of 250 to 1,200 acres. Tract's NVLCO Storey County Two, LLC bought the land in February 2024 from Virginia Highlands LLC and Nevada Uplands I, LLC for $65 million.
  • History: From 1986 the site served Hi-Shear, Aerojet and TRW as a manufacturing, storage and test facility for ammunition, rocket propellant and explosives. Storey County denied a 2007 plan to build the Cordevista master-planned community on the land.
  • Zoning: Special Industrial and industrial zoning, with pre-approved uses that include data centers and commercial energy production.
  • Utility: NV Energy (Sierra Pacific Power) serves the area. NV Energy recorded a right-of-way easement across the southern parcel in October 2026.
  • Portfolio: One of Tract's northern Nevada parks, with Peru Ridge, Peru Shelf and South Valley in TRIC and Silver Springs in Lyon County.
