Homebound Group LLC is developing the Journey campus on a 300-acre site off Red Creek Road near Haskell, Texas. Haskell County tax-abatement records link the project to Google. The abatement allows up to four data center phases on the site. Journey 1A and 2A are the first two buildings, both under construction for completion in 2027.
The campus sits inside Intersect's Quantum complex, with about 640 MW of solar and 1.3 GWh of battery storage. Google acquired Intersect in March 2026. A new 345 kV ring station on the Electric Transmission Texas grid serves the complex.
