Data Center Campus
The DC BLOX data center is built on the 27-acre, former Trinity Steel site in downtown Birmingham. The first phase which was built in 2019 has 31,000 sqft of space.
The company has completed a redesign of its data hall at the facility in 2024 so that it can house up to 240 standard retail cabinets and 36 HPC-capable cabinets, each supporting up to 35kW of power. The work has added an additional IT capacity of 2.4MW to the data center.

DC BLOX is a digital infrastructure provider in the Southeastern United States. The company provides colocation, network connectivity and dark fiber services for enterprises and carriers, and operates a cable landing station in South Carolina with a second station planned in Florida.
It is developing hyperscale data center campuses in the Atlanta metro area. In 2025 the company announced additional subsea capacity and secured project financing to advance Atlanta West.
