Data Center Campus
CyrusOne has acquired a plot of land in the Ashburn area of Virginia’s Loudoun County. The KKR-owned company announced the purchase of a 57.6-acre land parcel in Loudoun County, Virginia, located along Broadlands Boulevard at Belmont Ridge Road. The company said the site will be the future location of a new data center campus targeting hyperscale cloud providers and large-scale companies.
The company has filed plans to build five two-story data center buildings on the campus.

CyrusOne is a data center owner, operator, and developer that manages more than 50 facilities, with its footprint concentrated in the U.S. and Europe. The company is based in Dallas and was taken private in March 2022 by funds managed by KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners in a transaction valued at approximately 15 billion dollars including debt.
Its portfolio centers on hyperscale and enterprise colocation across multi-building campuses. CyrusOne has also pursued international growth initiatives alongside its core North American and European markets.
