Microsoft will invest more than $1 billion in cloud and AI infrastructure in Thailand over the next two years, to be used in expanding the company's data center footprint, upskill local talent, and invest in cybersecurity and sovereign technology in the country.

A $500 million data center has been approved in Martindale Brightwood, northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission approved Metrobloks’ request to rezone a 14-acre site at 2505 North Sherman Drive for the project.
