Center3's building will house Huawei's Saudi Arabian cloud region. To assist Huawei in growing its cloud footprint in the area, Saudi telecom STC this month said that its Center3 subsidiary would offer hosting and data services to Huawei. In October 2022, Center3 was established to take over the STC Group's digital infrastructure assets, comprising data centers, subsea cables, global points of contact, and Internet exchange points. STC & Center3 hold about 25 data centers in the nation, but they haven't disclosed the location or opening dates of the new region. According to Center3 CEO Fahad AlHajeri, they are excited to work with Huawei to give the MENA region cutting-edge digital infrastructure.

Furthermore, this partnership is a big step forward for both businesses, according to Alan Qi, CEO of Huawei Cloud KSA, who expressed his company's excitement for a fruitful future in partnership. In February 2022, Huawei initially disclosed plans to build a Saudi cloud region, although it gave no details regarding the territory's location or debut dates. Six worldwide areas of Huawei Cloud are currently located in Singapore; Mexico City, Mexico; Bangkok, Thailand; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Santiago, Chile. It has several regions spread out throughout China and Hong Kong. It revealed ambitions for a new area in Indonesia last year. While Microsoft and Google are also trying to create regions in the kingdom, Oracle currently has one cloud region in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah and is planning two more in Neom City and Riyadh (the latter in Dammam).
