According to Dallas Morning News, Prologis is looking to develop an industrial warehouse park on a site at 2300 W. Plano Parkway occupied by NTT for an office complex and data center. The company plans to develop a 64-acre, eight-building warehouse which will span 92,900 square meters (1 million square feet). The site is located at Bush Turnpike, Cluster Road in Plano. The plan has already been approved by Plano’s planning and zoning commission.
Prologis said NTT would continue to be a tenant of the site. However, the giant logistics company did not reveal if the existing data centers would continue functioning. NTT sold the 1 million square feet property to GI partners in 2019. However, NTT was supposed to lease back the property, including the data center buildings. It is unclear if Prologis acquiring the property will change the existing plans.
