Skybox plans 100MW build-to-suit campus in Plano, Texas

Skybox is planning a 100MW build-to-suit data center campus in Plano, Texas. The campus is being established in partnership with logistics real estate firm Prologis, which owns the site. The 64-acre site is listed on the company's website, which outlines it has a capacity of 100 MW, and can house up to one million square feet (92,900 sqm) of data center development. 

The site, which also includes an on-site substation with 25MW currently available, was initially used by NTT Data Services, which sold it to GI Partners in 2019, before being purchased by Prologis in 2021. 

DCD shared that at the time that a spokesperson said: "NTT Data Services will continue to operate as a customer of Prologis on-site, through a lease agreement. We are excited about the unique opportunities presented at this location, and we will continue to work with the community in the planning process."

Skybox Datacenters has 16 sites in 6 regions.
