Moveworks has announced that its first regional data center in Canada has opened, a move which the company said signifies its move toward promoting greater data center privacy and residency, in line with the evolving regulatory landscape in Canada.
The company noted that data privacy is a “crucial concern” for businesses in the global marketplace, and through the launch of the new regional data center in Canada, and most recently in the European Union (EU), it aims to provide “peace of mind” to Canadian and European customers implementing its conversational AI solutions.
“They can confidently use our advanced large language model (LLM) technology, knowing they have control over where their data resides,” the company added.
“Besides aligning with the shifting regulatory climate,” the company said “Moveworks’ Canadian data center also adheres to various data residency requirements across the region.” This, it said, gives customers greater flexibility, customization, and control over their data.
