A 73MW data center campus is being planned outside Slough, UK. Developers plan to demolish many office buildings that are not commercially viable to develop the facility. Kennedy Wilson’s affiliate Kwere II filed with the South Buckinghamshire council to develop the data center campus at Framewood Road in Wexham.

Planning documents show that the company is looking to develop two data center buildings on the proposed site. The site will also include the development of a generator compound, ancillary offices, and a substation building totaling 645,800 square feet (60,000 square meters). The company plans to invest over $427m (£360 million) to develop the project.

The facility will be developed on a 16-hectare site. According to Kennedy Wilson, it already secured sufficient power to house the data center. The 73MW facility can also be expanded to 100MW upon full buildout. Kennedy Wilson hopes to start the development of the facility in 2024 and complete it in 2026.
