Yondr is planning to build two data centers in Slough, England. The Company recently applied to build the data centers at former Uxbridge Road Gas Works and the former Akzo Nobel paint factory. Plans for the data centers have been in the works since January 2021. If the applications were approved, it would start work on the site in June.

Also, the first phase of the facility is expected to be in operation by 2023, and it would have a 30MW capacity. Furthermore, the initial phase is expected to cost over £450 million ($637 million). Not only that, but it will also create 1,000 temporary construction jobs and 50 full-time roles when the facility becomes operational.

Yondr Group has 15 sites.
