Five 9s Digital has sold a facility in Kannapolis, North Carolina, for $11.4 million. LD DI Assetco LLC is the buying company. BizJournal first reported the sale late last year. Five 9s acquired the property in question for $8.4 million in May 2020 from Castle & Cooke. The data center has 50,000 square feet of space, and it is currently being occupied by Segra. The facility can also offer 9.6MW of capacity upon full build-out.
Both Five 9s and LD DI Assetco LLC haven’t made an official statement on the development. However, LD DI Assetco LLC’s portfolio page shows that the facility was acquired in December 2021. DigitalBridge acquired LD DI Assetco LLC in May 2021.
