Cologix has taken full ownership of two data centers it occupies in Toronto, Canada.

The Stonepeak-backed company acquired full ownership of TOR4, a purpose-built hyperscale data center in Toronto, from CIM Group. Located on a 3.4-acre site in Markham, Ontario, the 11MW, 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sqm) facility is part of Cologix’s Scalelogix hyperscale portfolio and is designed for hyperscale and enterprise deployments.

In another  transaction, Cologix will also acquire TOR5, CIM Group’s 105 Clegg Road data center. Set on 3.4 acres close to TOR4, the single-story purpose-built facility offers 3MW across 40,000 sq ft (3,716 sqm). Cologix said the site has 80,000 sq ft (7,432 sqm) in expansion potential.

“Our joint venture with CIM Group has been instrumental in accelerating our growth in Toronto - one of North America’s most critical digital edge markets,” said Laura Ortman, CEO of Cologix. “With full ownership of TOR4 and the addition of TOR5, we are deepening our investment in Canada and delivering more control, scale, and performance for hyperscalers, enterprises, and service providers, advancing Toronto’s role as a hub for AI inference ecosystems.”
