Cloud storage company Backblaze has selected Cologix's TOR3 data center in Toronto, Canada, to host its data sovereign storage services in the country. Backblaze said it will be able to provide cloud storage services to Canadian customers while meeting data sovereignty requirements with the new data center location.
"Partnering with Cologix enables us to directly address the growing need for in-country data storage in Canada,” said Chris Opat, senior VP of cloud operations at Backblaze. “TOR3’s robust infrastructure and connectivity, combined with our cost-effective storage solutions, empowers international businesses to maintain data sovereignty without compromising performance or affordability."
