APAC operator Bridge Data Centres has revealed new plans for further expansion in Malaysia with a new facility in Cyberjaya. The ChinData subsidiary said the project will offer 87MW across three phases, with the first two phases involving the construction of a three-story data center.
“We are thrilled to announce that Bridge Data Centres has acquired new land for the development of our third data center, MY02, in Cyberjaya, Malaysia,” the company said on LinkedIn this week. “This expansion, in partnership with Cyberview Sdn Bhd, marks a significant milestone for us, estimated to be the largest among our three data center developments.”
Eric Fan, president of Bridge Data Centres, said: “Our ongoing expansion in Malaysia underscores our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers and further solidifying our position as a key player in the data center industry. With this latest development in Cyberjaya, we are poised to continue driving innovation and supporting the digital transformation of businesses across the nation.”
