Bridge Data Centres to develop 100MW data center in Malaysia

Bridge Data Centres has revealed plans for a new data center in Malaysia called MY06. The facility will be housed in the Kidex Sedenak business park in Sedenak. According to reports, the data center will be the biggest of its kind in Malaysia. The facility will be sited on 40 acres of land. In addition, the data center campus will have three buildings with a capacity of up to 100MW. According to Bridge Data Centres, Phase 1 of the facility is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2022. Phase 2 will also be completed shortly after Phase 1 is done.

President of Bridge Data Centres, Lim Dz Shing, said the company is happy to expand in Malaysia. He noted that the proposed hyperscale campus in Malaysia shows its commitment to reliable and scalable solutions. Shing revealed that Bridge would be investing a lot in the data center campus, while also giving employment opportunities to individuals in the industry.

Bridge Data Centres has 19 sites.
