Bridge Data Centres (BDC), a prominent provider of data center solutions in the Asia Pacific region, has announced plans to expand its hyperscale data center campus, MY03, in Kuala Lumpur's MRANTI Park. This expansion offers 48MW of IT power to Malaysian and Asia-Pacific hyperscalers and enterprises. Malaysia's central research and innovation commercialization agency, Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI), has agreed with BDC to develop three buildings and a 132kV substation in MRANTI Park. MY03 will offer a total IT power capacity of 64MW after the expansion.

The expansion endeavor is divided into two phases. Phase one is expected to be operational with 16MW by the third quarter of 2025. Phase two is expected to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2027. This development strengthens MRANTI Park's position as a flourishing technology hub for the global community, accelerating the growth and success of businesses.

Developing a data center campus in MRANTI Park solidifies Malaysia as an attractive location for data center investment in the Asia-Pacific region. Strategically located near central Kuala Lumpur, the 686-acre MRANTI Park strategically benefits the entire innovation process, focusing on fostering the commercialization of "impact technologies" in key industry sectors to promote sustainable development.
