Big Data Exchange (BDx) Indonesia has announced that it has broken ground on its new 15MW CGK3A facility in South Jakarta, Indonesia. The facility will see an investment of $150 million, offering 14,127 sqm (152,000 sq ft) of space.

According to commercial director Avnish Patankar, CGK3A is a "major milestone" in the company's mission to provide "reliable and secure" solutions to its clients across the Asia-Pacific region. Further to this, Patankar said it will feature the "latest in data center technology, including advanced cooling systems and robust security measures, to ensure the highest levels of performance and protection for our clients' valuable data."
Projections are that the facility will be operational by the end of the year.
