NTT Jakarta 3 (JK3): NTT Opens New Data Center in Jakarta, Indonesia

NTT has announced the opening of a new data center in Jakarta, Indonesia. The new Jakarta 3 Data Center is a four-story building with a 15.2MW capacity and 18,000 square meters of IT space. The data center will also reach 45MW of capacity upon full build-out. The President and Director of NTT Indonesia, Mizuho Tada, said the Jakarta 3 facility would help meet the demands of clients, especially clients that need flexible facility designs to help accomplish their business goals. 

Tada added that the company hopes to be a major player in providing critical data capacity at a very high speed to keep Indonesia’s digital economy and digital ecosystems running. The company first revealed plans for the data center in 2019. It also scheduled the facility to be completed in 2020. In addition, NTT noted that the data center would be built to Tier IV standards.
