BDx Indonesia has revealed its plan to develop a 100MW data center campus in Jakarta. The CGK5 data center campus will be developed on a 12-acre parcel in the Suryacipta City of Industry. The facility will be part of the company’s third availability zone in Indonesia. BDx Indonesia is a joint venture between Indonesian companies Aplikanusa Lintasarta and Indosat and Big Data Exchange (BDx) in May 2022.
CGK5 will complement BDx Indonesia’s existing facilities while giving it location diversity. The company also noted that it would provide a network-dense interconnection ecosystem for its hyperscale customers.
The CEO of BDx, Mayank Srivastava, said: “As we prepare to break ground on our 100MW greenfield Suryacipta campus in this dynamic market, BDx Indonesia upholds its commitment to support Digital Indonesia and continue its rapid journey of expansion and innovation. Being the only data center provider offering three availability zones, we are proud to provide our hyperscale and enterprise customers with the highest level of capacity and connectivity, world-class data center operations together with sustainable solutions supporting their growth in this region.”
