Ascendas Property Fund wants to invest up to R 12 billion ($162.4 million) to build and operate phase one of a campus in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. Ascendas Property Fund says it will complete the acquisition of the 6.6-acre site of the proposed data center in the third quarter of 2021. This campus will have two buildings, with the first building having 325,000 square feet of space. The Company plans to complete this phase in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
The second phase is also expected to be up to 250,000 square feet of space. Upon full buildout, the facility would have up to 90MW of capacity and would be able to host 8,500 racks. It will also have a PUE of 1.4.
