NTT: NTT Launches New Facility in Navi Mumbai

NTT has announced the opening of a new data center in Navi Mumbai, India. It also opened another data center in Mumbai recently without fanfare. The Navi Mumbai facility is called NAV1A, located in the Mahape area. The eight-story data center spans 400,000 square feet, and it has 45MW in power while offering up to 5,000 racks in capacity.

The MD of NTT India, Sharad Sanghi, said opening the new facility with the Chandivali data center campus in Mumbai gives clients access to facilities across multiple availabilities. These data centers are connected by NTT’s Data Center Interconnect cable in the Mumbai region. 

The Mahape campus sits on an 8-acre site, and it is planned to accommodate up to four facilities with a capacity reaching 150MW.
