CapitaLand has announced that it will develop a data center in Hyderabad, India. The Singaporean real estate group revealed that the hyperscale data center would be located in the Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy City. The facility will also deliver 40MW of capacity. In addition, the data center will have a dedicated GIS substation in the HITEC City.
The company previously announced its plans to develop its first data center in India last year. The data center campus announced will have two buildings, and it will be located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. The first building on the campus will span 325,000 square feet. It is also scheduled to be completed in Q2 2024.
