Globalinx is developing a 24,000-square-foot Cable Landing Station (CLS) near Ocean City Municipal Airport in Maryland to host Amazon’s private "Fastnet" subsea cable connecting Cork, Ireland to the U.S. East Coast.

Phase II is planned as a 53,000 sq ft cable landing and interconnection building on Globalinx’s existing campus, a $34.5 million project expected to be ready in 2027–2028.

Globalinx plans to use the site for Phase 3 of its campus, an 85,000 sq ft cable landing station and carrier-neutral colocation facility, a $65 million project.
Globalinx: Virginia Beach Phase 1
Globalinx in Virginia Beach will offer direct access to MAREA and BRUSA subsea cables. The cables land in the Telxius cable landing station, which is approximately 600 meters away. Globalinx is constructing diverse parallel conduits the length of the site into both point of entries which will be owned and managed by Globalinx.
