Lot Size: 45 acres

Zerra DC, a data center developer owned by the investment firm AGP (formerly known as AGP DC), has filed a planning permit application with the state of Victoria to develop a six-building data center campus in Campbellfield, north of Melbourne, Australia. The project will be located on a 45-acre site formerly occupied by the Ford Broadmeadows Assembly Plant, which was acquired by the developer.

Opened in 1959, the historic automotive facility served as the cornerstone of Ford Australia's local manufacturing operations and the birthplace of the iconic Ford Falcon and Territory lines. At its peak, the plant employed over 2,000 workers before its closure in 2016 marked the definitive end of Ford’s 88-year vehicle manufacturing history in the country.
