VEON has started construction of a Hyper Cloud data center in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This advanced Tier III-certified facility is targeted to become fully operational by the end of 2026.

Managed by the local unit Beeline Kazakhstan in partnership with Huawei, the center will serve as a sovereign cloud platform to ensure all national data remains within Kazakhstan's borders. It is specifically engineered to support AI computing through specialized GPU-as-a-Service offerings, providing the infrastructure necessary for local innovations like the KazLLM large language model.
