QazCloud has unveiled its new data center in Kosshy, in the Akmola region in Kazakhstan. The data center is built to Tier II standards with a total area of 2,787 square feet (259 square meters). The facility also has space for 100 racks. QazCloud was founded in 2018, and it provides hosting, cloud, and ICT services to its customers.
According to QazCloud, the new data center will allow customers to receive backup, hot copy, cloud, and IT services. The facility will also host systems for QazCloud’s state-owned parent companies, Kazakhtelecom JSC and Samruk-Kazyna Group companies. General Director of QazCloud LLP, Kasym Yesergepov, said the data center would make it possible to create metro clusters for the first time in Kazakhstan. He also said the data center would help eliminate the risk of data loss.
