French energy firm Valorem is planning a data center in Kissankallio, Eurajoki, co-located with an 80 MW solar plant and a 30 MW battery energy storage system on about 55 hectares.
The site is designed so the campus can later grow to several hundred megawatts, pairing local renewable generation with the facility from the outset. Valorem is negotiating a planning reservation with the municipality and starting zoning and permitting, with a building permit targeted for 2027. Officials in Eurajoki have described the project as a significant early investment for the Satakunta municipality’s economic development.
