NDSU and RII Launch Study Exploring the Reuse of Data Center Waste Heat for Greenhouses in North Dakota

Wyoming-based Teton Digital has received approval to develop a data center in North Dakota. Known as Project Trinity, the facility will be situated eight miles south of Tioga on a 25-acre portion of an 80-acre site in Dry Fork Township.
The development will occur in two phases, with the first phase scheduled to become operational by the third or fourth quarter of 2025, utilizing existing power from a nearby substation. The second phase involves the construction of a 100MW+ substation in collaboration with local utility MWEC and the full completion of the data center by the end of 2026.
