Strata Expanse is developing an AI data center campus on 40 acres along County Road 1A in Hamilton Township, Lawrence County, Ohio, near AEP's Hanging Rock station. It bought the land in December 2025 from the Lawrence Economic Development Corporation and the county port authority. The data center uses modular buildings on 10 to 12 acres of the site.

Site History

In May 2026, Ohio EPA granted stormwater coverage for a ground-mount solar array at the site.
In March 2026, Strata Expanse announced a successful pilot at the site.
In December 2025, Strata Expanse bought the land and held a ribbon cutting.
