Sify Infinit Spaces, a subsidiary of Sify Technologies, has officially broken ground on a landmark AI Edge Data Center and Open Cable Landing Station in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Launched in October 2025 with a total investment of approximately $170 million (Rs 1,500 crore), this facility at the Rushikonda–Madhurawada IT Park is designed to be a critical digital gateway for India’s eastern coast.
The center will feature low-latency AI processing capabilities and high-speed connectivity via a submarine cable network linking India to Southeast Asia and Australia. By integrating diverse fiber networks and an OPGW substation, Sify provides the carrier-neutral redundancy required for hyperscale expansion.
