The OTT3 data center in Kanata originally served as the primary facility for Granite Networks before its acquisition by Rogers Communications in 2011. Following over a decade of operation under the Rogers brand, the site was transitioned to Qu Data Centres in late 2025 as part of a nationwide infrastructure acquisition by InfraRed Capital Partners. Although the physical infrastructure is now owned by Qu Data Centres, Rogers Communications continues to be active at the site as a key network and service provider.
