In 2018, the Portuguese telecoms and media company NOS launched a new data center, Imopolis II, in Carnaxide, Oeiras (part of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area). Built next to the existing Imopolis I facility, the new center covers 1,000 square meters overall, with 410 square meters of technical floor space that can be expanded to 630 square meters.

For power, Imopolis II uses N+1 emergency generators and two UPS systems. Its cooling system features integrated free-cooling and redundant, direct expansion hydraulic networks.
