This new development, known as the DFWC campus, is being constructed on a vast 140-acre site. At full build-out, the campus is projected to encompass 1.4 million square feet of data center space. The entire project is designed to be supported by a dedicated, on-site 372 MW Oncor substation, ensuring robust power capacity for the facility.
The company recently filed a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) application for the initial phase, DFWC1. This first facility involves a planned investment of $300 million for a two-story data center building spanning 360,750 square feet (33,514 square meters), as well as the construction of the substation and a campus entrance. The construction timeline for the DFWC1 building is scheduled to begin in April 2026 and conclude by October 2027.
