Mason County Data Center

Site planned for 2028 and has expansions through 2038
Lot Size: 2,080 acres

A massive new data center campus is coming to Mason County, Kentucky, spanning a newly rezoned 2,080-acre land parcel north of Germantown Road.

Deployed by an anonymous Fortune 50 technology giant, the sprawling development is projected to feature six massive 718,740-square-foot data center buildings alongside three dedicated electrical substations. Despite the developer's promise to fully fund the necessary utility and road infrastructure, local opposition continues to mount. Community members, worried about the campus's footprint and its large projected power capacity, have actively petitioned local officials to follow other Kentucky counties in issuing a data center moratorium.
