Lumilogic Oy is a subsidiary of Nordecon Oy, an Espoo-based IT services and equipment company. Lumilogic was registered in 2024 and is building its first data centre at Junttatie 2 in Riihimäki, about an hour north of Helsinki. The building opened as the SOK industrial bakery and later served as an IT equipment warehouse.
The conversion is an investment of tens of millions of euros, with operations planned from early 2027. The design uses free cooling, water-based cooling for the densest rooms, backup generation and redundant fibre on separate paths, and plans for local reuse of waste heat. Lumilogic already sells virtual servers and plans colocation, bare metal, storage and an AI cloud service called Lumicloud.
