This campus is part of Microsoft’s expansive 15-building data center development in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, which consists of 9 buildings here on the Durand Avenue site and 6 buildings at the International Drive Campus. Located on approximately 791 acres near Durand Avenue (north of Highway 11), the nine AI-optimized data centers—each planned at up to 580,000 square feet—will form a major hub for high-density computing.
Site History
In 2023, Microsoft completed the purchase of an additional 1,000 acres of land for its Mount Pleasant data center campus in Racine County, Wisconsin.
- The 400 acres on Braun Road and Durand Avenue were purchased from the Village of Mount Pleasant for $63.2m, and 241 acres along County Highway H for $36.5m.
- The remaining 407 acres, also on Braun Road and Durand Avenue, were purchased from Creuziger Farms Inc. for $76m.
