MEX8 is a new data center being developed by KIO Data Centers in Mexico City. Construction began in 2026 as part of the company's continued expansion across Latin America. The facility is intended to strengthen digital infrastructure in the Mexican capital by providing carrier-neutral colocation and connectivity services for enterprise, cloud, AI, fintech, healthcare, education, and public-sector customers. KIO has stated that the facility will be powered predominantly by renewable energy sources and is expected to become operational in 2027.
