IREN: Mackenzie BC

The IREN facility is located in Mackenzie (population 4,000), historically a major lumber town with a regional airport located 670km north of Vancouver and 170km north of Prince George (population ~76,000).

IREN acquired 11-acres of freehold land from the District of Mackenzie to develop data centers and provide additional economic activity, which has been in decline due to recent mill closures. The facility supports approximately 15 full-time local jobs in Mackenzie.
