Hut 8: Beacon Point Campus

Year Planned: 2026
Lot Size: 525 acres

The Beacon Point data center campus, located in Nueces County, Texas, is a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure project developed by Hut 8. Serving as a cornerstone of the company’s "power-first" development strategy, the campus has secured an interconnection agreement for 1 GW of utility capacity.

Its first phase involves a 15-year lease agreement with a corporate tenant for a facility built to NVIDIA’s reference architecture, representing a contract value of $9.8 billion. Construction and utility energization are projected to begin in early 2027, with the first data halls expected to be operational later that year. This development marks a transition for the site toward hosting hyperscale AI training and inference operations.
