GS AI Infra: Donghae AI Campus

Site planned for 2028 and has expansions through 2029

The Donghae AI Data Center Campus is a flagship hyperscale development by GS AI Infra, a dedicated subsidiary of GS Group.

Situated on a 231,000 square meter site within the Bukpyeong 2nd General Industrial Complex in Donghae, Gangwon Province, the facility is designed as one of Asia's largest AI infrastructure hubs. The project is scheduled to bring Phase 1 online by December 2028, followed by Phase 2 in 2029.

The facility will draw power directly from the adjacent 1.19 GW Bukpyeong coal-fired thermal plant operated by affiliate GS Donghae Electric Power, monetizing idle local capacity that is otherwise restricted by regional grid transmission constraints.
