Short Code: KLM1
Year Built: 2026

The GDC Kulim Data Center project was a proposed collaboration between Global Data Centre Sdn Bhd (GDC) and Maxland Bhd to develop a state-of-the-art data center in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. Announced in late 2024/early 2025, the plan involved a joint venture on a 4.57-acre leased site, with both parties injecting RM24 million and targeting AI-ready infrastructure.

However, in May 2026, Maxland cancelled the land leases following a strategic review, as the site no longer aligned with the group's revised investment priorities. The project did not proceed to construction.
