Elea, a Brazilian data center company, is developing a massive, gigawatt-scale campus in Rio de Janeiro. Once complete, the campus could feature around 27 buildings.

Elea's existing RJ01 data center was originally built by Brazilian media company Globo in 2016. Globo used the 5,225 sqm (56,200 sq ft) facility to support its coverage of the Rio Olympics, and Elea acquired it in 2021.
