A new climate-focused data center, spanning 8,000 square meters, is set to be built in Esbjerg through a collaborative effort. Sampension is leading the development, having already purchased 10 hectares of land from Esbjerg Municipality. The project will leverage ECO-LocaXion's expertise in building climate-focused data centers, with ECO-LocaXion also handling the future operation. Construction is slated to commence in late 2025 or early 2026, aiming for operations to begin by late 2027. A key environmental benefit of this project is the integration with DIN Forsyning, which will utilize the data center's excess heat in its district heating network.
