Located in Taipei's Neihu District near Chief Telecom's other facilities, LY2 is purpose-built for AI and HPC workloads. The building rises seven floors above ground with two basement levels, using Lead Rubber Bearing seismic isolation rated to withstand a magnitude-7 earthquake. Cooling runs through a dual-loop system with magnetic-levitation centrifugal chillers, supporting both air- and liquid-cooled deployments; a 2025 retrofit added direct-to-chip liquid cooling for high-density GPU racks. Backup power comes from rooftop generators paired with onsite diesel storage and UPS systems. Reported tenants include major global cloud and HPC service providers.
