Lot Size: 100 acres

Canadian developer Beacon Data Centers has partnered with California Resources Corporation (CRC) to build the Golden Valley Technology Hub, a behind-the-meter data center campus located in Kern County, California.

Situated about 20 miles west of Bakersfield, the facility will draw dedicated power directly from CRC’s adjacent natural gas-fired Elk Hills Power Plant, relying on utility grid connections and on-site diesel generators as secondary backup. Designed for next-generation workloads, the campus will also incorporate a closed-loop liquid cooling system to significantly reduce water usage.
